We are on a mission to create the software that will revolutionize recruitment and are now seeking a talented Business Developer to take our expansion efforts to the next level with a combination of sales, strategic analysis and marketing. It's developing Recruitee by attracting new clients, identifying new business opportunities and expanding our reach.

Our recruitment software is used by over 2,000 amazing companies including Hotjar, Vice, Scotch & Soda, Greenpeace, and Bunq to find and hire the best people for their teams. 

What’s the opportunity? 🤔


We are looking for a creative and hungry business developer to join our marketing & growth team. You will work closely with marketing and sales to develop a strategy for finding, targeting and nurturing potential Recruitee clients. You will leverage the power of data and existing clients to turn business development into a core lead generation channel for Recruitee.



What will I be doing? 🚀


  • Develop and execute Recruitee’s outbound business development plan, from lead generation, to outreach, to nurture and qualification  

  • Analyse the market and find business opportunities in new potential customers 

  • Reach out to new prospects and build strong relationships with companies (any company that is hiring can benefit from Recruitee!)

  • Generate Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) and hand them over to our Sales department (note: you won’t be closing leads yourself)

  • Work with the growth marketing team to find creative ideas for lead generation

  • Align with sales to perfect the communications for lead outreach and nurture

  • Play a part in our European market expansion strategy 

What skills do I need? 📖


  • 1+ year of experience in sales/ business development or a similar target driven role

  • Fluent in Dutch, and awesome English skills
  • A passion for finding potential leads, targeting them effectively and nurturing them into SQLs

  • Experience working with marketing and sales teams

  • A data-driven and experimental approach to lead generation

  • Great listening, writing and interpersonal skills
  • You're driven, passionate, and enthusiastic
  • Fluent in Dutch, and have awesome English skills
