Your Mission

As our Content Marketeer for the French region, you will play an essential role in creating and scaling unique content that resonates with our audience. You’ll work closely with the Brand & Content Team on executing the global content strategy and will be responsible for localized projects of your own. You’re a go-getter, looking for opportunities and improvements before asked, and you’ll have a creative flair when creating content that inspires, engages, and converts.

About the Team

The marketing team's mission is to build the Recruitee brand (= telling the story) and to drive revenue (= generating demand). The team consists of 25+ people divided into different subteams — Growth Marketing, Product Marketing, Creative, Brand & Content, and SEO.

The Brand & Content team is responsible for the overall content strategy, creating and distributing content for all lifecycle stages, organizing events and executing the PR and social media strategy.

Your 12-months journey

In the first 3 months, you’ll spend time focusing on learning everything about Recruitee; understanding the product, the target market, and the organization. You’ll also dive straight into your tasks, like writing blog articles, social media posts, creating and monitoring email campaigns, writing and sending out the weekly newsletter, and coordinating content pieces with freelancers.

After 6 months, you’ll become fully immersed in the role. You’ll plan and execute thought leadership webinars and podcasts, promote content through social media, send out email campaigns, and newsletters, and have a good understanding of the French market. You are monitoring metrics and are taking appropriate actions and you identify gaps in our content and recommend new topics.

After 12 months, you’ll have mastered the role of Content Marketeer. You are able to reach content targets to the best of your abilities and are able to think more strategically moving forward. You’ll be able to see the impact your content is having, and bring your own ideas to the table on how to take it to the next level. Furthermore, you’ll also play a big part in helping to devise the ongoing content strategy, along with planning and strategizing for the quarters ahead.

What you'll do

  • Creating high-quality content for the French Recruitee blog. You’ll be writing things yourself but also managing freelance resources as we scale it.

  • Localizing and adapting existing marketing components (email drips, lead capture forms, landing pages) as we build new strategies.

  • Hosting the Recruitee monthly webinar and TA Innovators Radio Podcast in French!

  • Review translations for consistency, contextual accuracy, and voice and maintain French glossary and style guide including feature naming and user workflows.

  • Collaborate with in-house French team members to define and refine Recruitee's French voice.

  • Owning the quality of marketing materials in French, which means that you’ll also be guarding our company tone of voice and message.

  • Translating small text strings for the Recruitee product on an ad hoc basis or as we add new features or functionalities.

  • Executing SEO best practices for any online content in French together with our SEO team.

Job requirements

What you'll bring to the team

  • You have 2+ years of experience in a content marketing or digital marketing role for the French market.

  • Experience with Marketing Automation & Lead Nurturing.

  • Understanding of core Content Marketing elements and best practices.

  • Native French speaker, with excellent writing skills.

  • Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus.

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).

  • Strong level of ownership.

  • The ability to work both collaboratively with other teams and autonomously.
