Your Mission

As Recruitee’s Content Marketing Manager, you will develop and execute a full-funnel, global content strategy with a heavy focus on audio and video. Your mission will be to create and capture demand within our target audience by creating, repurposing, and distributing high-quality content. You will work closely with the localized content team to align strategic efforts to tell our story globally.


About the Team

As the Brand & Content Team within the Marketing Department, our mission is to build one of the most recognizable brands in the B2B SaaS market (think Gong, Metadata.io, ClickUp). We aim to build brand affinity and solution awareness with a highly targeted ICP. By continuously providing valuable content at the right time on the right channel, we aim to accelerate our growth even further. This role reports directly to the Head of Brand & Content. Our ever-growing team currently consists of a DACH Content Marketer, a Senior Events Manager, an Email Marketing Specialist, a Social Media Manager, and a PR and Comms Manager.


Your 12-month journey🚀


In the first 3 months, you will learn everything about Recruitee, our product, the HR tech landscape, our competitors, the market landscape, and last but not least, our customers. You will work on our quarterly online events and will start performing a content audit and gap analysis to understand our current content efforts.

After 6 months, you’ve mapped out our global content roadmap and coordinated with the marketing stakeholders to align efforts toward shared goals. You’ve launched your first integrated campaigns, will be on top of content performance, and will work collaboratively with the marketing team for testing, experiments, and optimization. You’ll spearhead content distribution and repurposing efforts to help the shift to a full-blown demand gen strategy.


After 1 year, you will have delivered a global content strategy that provides highly-qualified and educated sales-ready leads. With your guidance, our content across the funnel will help set us apart from our competitors and be optimized to build brand affinity and solution awareness with our target audience. You end your first year with a big smile because your global podcast on recruitment is getting loads of traction!


What you’ll do

  • Define the global content strategy, and own the global content roadmap

  • Facilitate and lead the shift in content strategies towards demand generation, including repurposing and ungated content distribution best practices

  • Produce content that motivates, inspires, educates, informs, sells, and simply provides information across a wide variety of digital platforms with a heavy focus on audio and video content

  • Improve team forecasting and stakeholder visibility into our content production process by developing content plans, libraries, etc

  • Closely work with our Social Media Manager to create and repurpose content to be consumed within social media channels and communities (i.e., native content)

  • Collaborate with the product marketing team to create easy-to-understand, engaging product-led content that is tailored to a global audience

Job requirements

What you’ll bring to the team

  • A minimum of 5 years in a content marketing role of which 3 years of experience in a strategic content development role

  • A diverse portfolio, ideally with a track record in podcast and video content production

  • A sense for outstanding storytelling and creating engaging content that aligns with the target audience

  • Fluent English speaker

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills

  • Good knowledge of digital asset management (DAM) and content management systems (CMS) is a plus

  • Experience with Hubspot or Foleon is a plus (but not required)
