Your Mission

As Recruitee’s Content Marketing Manager, you will develop and execute a full-funnel, global content strategy. Your mission will be to create and capture demand within our target audience through the creation, repurposing, and distribution of high quality content. You will work closely with the localized content team to align strategic efforts to tell our story on a global scale.

About the Team

As the Brand & Content Team within the Marketing Department, our mission is to build one of the most recognizable brands in the B2B SaaS market (think Gong, Drift, Chili Piper). Our objective is to build brand affinity/solution awareness with a highly targeted ICP by ungated content creation and distribution. By continuously providing valuable content at the right time on the right channel (where our audience is), we aim to accelerate our growth even further. This role reports directly to the Head of Brand & Content. Our ever-growing team currently consists of 4 Content Marketers (USA, DACH, FR), an Events Manager, a Social Media Manager.

Your 12-month journey🚀

The first 3 months, you will learn everything about Recruitee, all content stakeholders, the ins & outs of our product, the HR tech landscape, our competitors, the market landscape, and of course, our customers. You will start by performing a content gap analysis and audit in order to understand our current content efforts.

After 6 months, you’ve mapped out a global content roadmap and coordinated with the content team to align efforts toward shared goals. You will be on top of content performance and work collaboratively within the marketing team for testing, experiments, and content optimization. You’ll spearhead content distribution and repurposing efforts to help the shift to a full-blown demand gen strategy.

After 1 year, you will have delivered a global content strategy that delivers highly-qualified and educated inbound leads. With your help/guidance, our content across the funnel will help set us apart from our competitors and be optimized to build affinity/solution awareness with our target audience. You will have launched a new initiative (for example, created our first Slack community, created a cool podcast, etc).

What you’ll do

  • Define the global content strategy, and own the global content roadmap for our content through all the buying stages

  • Facilitate and lead the shift in content strategies towards demand generation, including ungated content distribution best practices

  • Produce content that motivates, inspires, educates, informs, sells, and simply, provides information across a wide variety of digital platforms

  • Focus on repurposing existing content in order to help scale our content efforts

  • Improve team forecasting and stakeholder visibility into our content production process by developing content plans, libraries, etc

  • Closely work with our Social Media Manager to create and repurpose content to be consumed within social media channels and communities (i.e. native content)

  • Undertake regular content gap analysis and audits to understand areas for improving content

  • Align with localized content marketers on the content strategy roadmap

  • Partner with other marketing teams to measure and optimize content performance across our marketing channels, including conducting performance reviews, content audits, A/B testing, etc.

  • Work with full-time and freelance design and copywriting resources to deliver high-quality work within efficient timelines

  • Collaborate with the product marketing team to create easy-to-understand, engaging product-led content that is tailored to a global audience

Job requirements

What you’ll bring to the team

  • A minimum of 5 years in a content marketing role, of which 3 years of experience in a strategic content development role

  • A diverse portfolio that shows your knack for tackling all sorts of tasks, small to big, easy to challenging

  • A sense for outstanding storytelling and creating engaging content that aligns with the target audience

  • Fluent English speaker

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills

  • Good knowledge of digital asset management (DAM) and content management systems (CMS) is a plus

  • Experience with Hubspot is a plus (but not required)
