Your mission

As our Country Manager for the DACH market, your mission is to build, scale and lead a high performing team of Account Executives and future sales managers. Growing the DACH market is Recruitee’s primary focus for the coming years, and it will be your job to take the lead. The DACH market is on track to becoming our biggest one, and you’ll help us on this road to success. You’ll hire new Account Executives to triple the team, train & develop them and make sure everybody meets and exceeds their sales goals. You will be easing out obstacles in the organisation to unleash the full potential and operational execution of the DACH Sales Team. This is a high-impact role in our fast-growing and international team. You’ll report directly to our Global Sales Director.

About the Team

We’re growing the DACH sales team from 3 to 7 Account executives in the next quarter and are planning to further build out the team to 12 individual performers plus sales managers by the end of 2022. Your team’s mission is to keep the DACH sales engine running and convert leads into long term customers. Recruitee’s DACH Revenue is currently growing 140% year on year and going up as we see tremendous demand in an underserved market. Our current DACH customer base is -+ 800 and growing.

Your 12-month Journey

For the first half-year (H2 ‘21), you’ll focus on 1) building solid relationships with each of your team members (approx 7) and 2) learning everything about Recruitee (understanding the product, our customer base and their needs and the ATS space).

You'll have set up the basics of how you want to lead your team in a highly scalable manner: create a personal coaching plan, internal sales training, and you’ve started on a Recruitee Sales Playbook which maps the entire sales process.

In the next half year (H1 ‘22), you’ll add another layer of sales managers to help you scale the DACH team further to approx 12 account execs. And this is only the start as we see a huge window of opportunity.

What you’ll do

  • Build, scale, lead a high performing commercial team for the DACH Market (our most significant region)

  • Making sure each of the Account Executives meets and exceeds their targets

  • Create a Sales Playbook to map the entire sales process; how we drive sales, best practices, competitor analysis and more

  • Drive sales and expand the DACH customer base and generate new revenue

  • Work closely with the Global Sales Director to provide input on the growth of the business and align revenue strategy with overall company objectives

  • Be the voice of the customer and align with the organisation on product requirements, marketing efforts, and all that help us achieve our mission

Job requirements

What you’ll bring to the team

  • 10 years working experience in commercial roles

  • 5+ years of experience in successfully building, scaling & leading commercial teams at SaaS companies

  • You’ve led teams of at least 10 people

  • Experience in both managing individual contributors as well as team leads

  • A strong vision on a best in class go-to-market strategy

  • Consultative selling and the challenger sale model

  • Excellent hiring skills (‘hire well, manage less’)

  • Having experience setting up a local office is a huge pre

  • A deep understanding of inbound selling

  • German native language skills

  • Working knowledge of English

  • Top-notch communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
