Your Mission

In addition to leading a team that represents Customer Marketing and Product Education, you’ll be in charge of promoting adoption and retention through customer content and distribution. With the help of your Recruitee colleagues, you will collaborate cross-functionally with several teams (including Product, Creative, Customer Success, Support, etc.) to develop the strategy and materials needed to assist our clients in being successful and independent.

About the Team

The marketing team's mission is to build the Recruitee brand (= telling the story) & to drive revenue (= generating demand). The team comprises 30+ people divided into different subteams — Growth Marketing, Product Marketing, Creative, Brand & Content Marketing, and SEO.

You’ll work in the Product Marketing team of Product Marketing, Partner Marketing, Customer Marketing, Localization, and Product Education - a fully cross-functional team responsible for creating the story that resonates externally and driving revenue through customer journey optimization centralized around the product and you’ll report to the Head of Product Marketing.

Your 12-month journey🚀

The first three months are all about learning, observing, and analyzing. Most importantly, understanding the Recruitee landscape of people, market, customers, and product. You’ll work on your first content pieces and product launches to get a technical understanding of how the product works and what our customers need help with. You’ll get to know your reports and establish communication cadences and ways of working.

After six months, you’ll have an in-depth understanding of how the product works, our customers' journey and struggles to recruit the best people for their organization, and the gaps to fill to educate them on how to do that. You’ll have crafted a strategy to get our content up to scratch and diversify our channels (webinars, video, blogs, etc.) to enable customers no matter their preferred learning style. You’ll have also gotten your feet wet with creating the crucial pillar pieces of product education content, such as owning and optimizing our onboarding process for Launch and Scale plans.

After 12 months, your strategy is well into place, and you’re in the midst of execution to build out the content needed, working with Customer Marketing and Product Education to do so. You’re well-versed in what’s needed for product launches to help our customers succeed with every new feature we release and have an established cadence of ongoing content creation. You have clearly impacted key metrics such as product adoption, logo retention, and churn. The Product Education team has a development plan and the team has grown personally and professionally with your help.

What you’ll do

  • Create a strategy for product education and customer marketing that enables customers at every stage of the journey for trial and paying users

  • Own and optimize the onboarding process and resource hub for our non-CSM-owned accounts, working closely with our Customer Marketing Manager for distribution and segmentation

  • Experiment with new channels and formats for education content

  • Drive product education through quality audits, content creation, and collaboration with multiple stakeholders for distribution and content repurposing

  • Ensure product launch success through customer L&D efforts such as best practices, videos, and other educational tactics

  • Experiment with new ways to drive internal education and awareness of the product and best practices

  • Find other ways to use education to drive adoption, retention, and increase the LTV of our customers

  • Manage our Customer Marketing Manager and Product Education Manager to develop themselves personally and develop the entire customer marketing and product education strategy

Job requirements

What you’ll bring to the team

  • Solid experience with content creation and distribution (Whether that is product education, content marketing, or something similar)

  • 2 years of managing a team

  • Experience with cross-collaboration and communication between departments

  • You have both a strategic mindset as well as the tactical ability to get your hands dirty and create content

  • Can translate the technical into easily understandable explanations, including use cases

  • Experience with close customer relationships in a previous role such as CSM, Onboarding manager, or Support manager
