Your Mission

As our Customer Success Team Lead your mission is to maximize the efficiency of the customer success team and improve customer success quality of delivery. You’ll be easing out any blockers and creating a great working environment to unlock the full potential of the customer success team. Together with the team, you’ll achieve your goals of promoting customer retention & adoption, growing revenue of existing customers, owning customer feedback and being a customer success thought leader. You’ll ensure performance and develop the skills of the team. You’ll also be the escalation point to the team. You are hands-on, have a high level of ownership, and are obsessed with process optimization and employee skill development.


About the Team

The customer success team consists of 10 people (and growing) with 4 different market focuses; 4 on Benelux, 5 on DACH, 1 on French and 1 on the US market. The CS team’s mission is to help our customers grow their teams and companies in the most efficient way. The key to unlocking this is building and maintaining a trust relationship with our customers and together building a collaborative hiring culture within their companies. We are not afraid to challenge the status quo to help our customers with their recruitment. You’ll report to our Customer Success Director.


Your 12-month Journey

The first couple of months you’ll spend focusing on learning everything about Recruitee: understand the product, our customer base and their needs and the ATS space. You’ll shadow the team to get an inside view of how the customer conversations are happening.


After 3 months, you’ll have a proper understanding on how we do things in Customer Success. You’ll start working more closely with Jennifer, our Customer Success Director, in order to download all her expertise on how to lead the team.


After 12 months, you’ve mastered the way of leading the team. You’ve grown the team and build strong relationships with each of your teammates. And most importantly you’ve had fun doing this all together.


What you will do
  • Manage an international Customer Success team, reporting to the Director of Customer Success.

  • Own the delivery of the Customer Success targets such as NPS, Retention and Expansion.

  • Serve as an escalation point to the team.

  • Develop the team’s knowledge through training session, role plays and training budgets.

  • Individual monthly 1:1s with the team.

  • Continuously assess and improve operational processes to support the team’s scaling.

  • Measure and support the team’s overall performance.

  • Facilitate cooperation and training with other departments.

  • Ensure even distribution of the workload.

  • Monitor and promote mental health in the team.


Job requirements

What you’ll bring to the team

  • Experience managing an account management or Customer Success team at a tech/SaaS company.

  • Near-native level of Dutch and full professional proficiency in English.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for consistently providing a great customer experience.

  • Experience building strong relationships at C-Level leading to revenue growth and high retention rates.

  • Fantastic communication skills with experience coaching and motivating a team

  • Confident in a tech environment and comfortable with new software.

  • Dedication to drive customer success, you want all of our clients to be successful using Recruitee.
