Own & Execute Recruitee’s Global Events Strategy

You Mission

As our Events Manager, you’ll own and execute Recruitee's events strategy across Europe and North America. Your number one goal is to plan and organise events to increase Recruitee's brand reach, generate leads, and build relationships with the Recruitee customer audience. We would like to create ‘’wow’’ experiences with our events. To promote Recruitee's product and brand, you’ll leverage a network of influencers and partners to develop many successful community events and campaigns. This also entails writing successful promotional copy, email marketing campaigns, and working with the creative team to build impactful marketing materials to promote the brand and events.

You’ll also support the regional content marketers in creating virtual events tailored to each of their audiences.

You’re responsible for continuously optimising the events strategy to cater to trends and topics. They must also meticulously assess which events to attend to generate positive short-term and long-term ROI while tracking pipeline leads.

About the team

The marketing team's mission is building the Recruitee Brand (=telling the story) & Driving Revenue (=generating demand). The team consists of 20+ people divided into different subteams — Growth Marketing, Product Marketing, Creative and Content & Buzz.

Your 12-month journey

The first couple of months, you’ll spend focusing on learning everything about Recruitee: understand the product, the teams and the current events strategy.

After 3 months, you will have an integrated global events strategy in place, as well as an events calendar, and start executing on it. You’ll continuously optimise the plan and start building out your strong events network. 

After 12 months, you’ve had a big impact and taken a successful Recruitee Events game to the next level. The event’s contribution and value for our brand, growth and community are undeniable at this point.

What you’ll do
  • Own all events (in-person and virtual) from start to finish. The event spectrum encompasses demos, webinars, masterclasses, workshops, conferences, tech fairs, Recruitee Classrooms, and TalentCon (our flagship event).

  • Generate internal buy-in for Recruitee events. Evangelise the power of events across Recruitee by generating hype and excitement internally

  • Document events best practices. Create event briefs that outline all critical information for key stakeholders.

  • Support events content. Collaborate with regional content marketers to develop best-in-class events that are responsive to current events and the Recruitee product.

  • Develop a Recruitee events playbook and strategy. Continuously optimise our events playbook and actively seek out new methods and outlets to extend our reach during events.

  • Reliably track events-based leads. Work closely with marketing ops and the wider marketing team to monitor leads and regularly report on events success. This includes email lead nurturing, managing the contacts pre, during, and post-event.

  • Marketing Recruitee events. Create compelling promotional copy and effective email marketing campaigns to trigger audience engagement and participation.

  • Operationalise PR strategies. Work with internal and external PR resources to generate interest and engagement for Recruitee events.

Job requirements

What’ll you bring to Recruitee
  • 5+ years of experience in Events Roles

  • Experienced in B2B events and has a solid understanding of marketing

  • Having worked in SaaS, and/or the recruitment industry is a bonus

  • Strong creative skills to help breathe new life into the Recruitee event experience

  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable presenting in executive-level settings

  • Project Management skills

  • Strong collaborator and easy to work with across time-zones

  • Ability to think strategically

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently, prioritise and get things done

  • Fluent in English, working knowledge of German is a big plus
