As our FP&A Analyst, you will be a trusted business partner and work closely with department heads to steer financial planning through the annual budget process and periodic financial forecasting. You will play a pivotal role in accelerating the growth of the business by delivering key insights into our customer and SaaS economics.
About the Team
You will be a part of Recruitee’s finance organisation and you will report to our Finance Director. The whole team currently consists of a Financial Controller, Business Controller, a Finance Manager, 2 Accountants in the Netherlands, an Accounting Lead in Poland and the CFO.
Your 12-month journey
In the first 3 months, you will take ownership of the reporting of SaaS metrics to the business, and produce and maintain dashboards for the monthly management packs. You will develop a firm grasp of the SaaS metrics and financial drivers of the business.
After 6 months, you will begin planning for the annual budget process, and take cash flow forecasting and financial planning to the next level. You will have dug your teeth into our customer economics and provided valuable insights into customer acquisition and retention to the sales and CSM teams.
After 12 months, you will have successfully completed the annual budget process and become a trusted finance business partner to the other departments.
What you’ll be doing
Have a pivotal role in the annual budget process working with department heads to help with their financial planning, including hiring needs, Opex and investment, and aligning these with company strategic pillars.
Assist in cash flow and Opex forecasting activities, maintaining SaaS financial forecasts and performing sensitivity analysis.
Periodic reporting of SaaS metrics to the company and senior management, including MRR, ARR, CAC, payback, LTV, NRR, churn and more.
Create and maintain dashboards for monthly management information and board packs.
Perform analysis on customer retention, including expansion, contraction and churn analysis.
Provide analytics and insights on end-to-end customer lifecycle including customer acquisition, customer lifetime value, customer profitability, sales cycles, conversion analysis and cohort analysis.
Report and provide in-depth analysis to senior management including monthly budget/forecast vs actuals variance analysis
What you’ll bring to the team
3-5 years of experience as a finance professional in a business controlling, FP&A, transaction services or corporate finance role within a dynamic, multinational, fast-paced environment.
Advanced financial modelling, MS Excel and PowerPoint skills (or G-suite).
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Data analytics or a related field.
Fluent English skills, both written and verbal.
