Job description

Help Recruitee to be Audit ready & in control throughout 2022 and beyond

Your Mission

As a Head of Finance, your primary mission is to lead us to the next growth stage. One very concrete goal is to receive a qualified audit opinion for the first audit year of 2022. To get there, you will improve processes, set up consolidated reporting, and implement an ERP system. You are fully responsible for all finance functions and financial reporting. You’ll be reporting to the CFO.

About the team

As a Head of Finance, you will manage the Finance team, currently consisting of 4 FTE based in Amsterdam and one vacancy in Poland. As a Head of Finance, you help shape and stir the strategic financial direction of the company.

Your 12-month Journey

In the first three months, you will focus on understanding our current processes, month-end close procedures and reporting. You will start coordinating and leading the implementation of the processes needed for an external audit and coordinate complete documentation of audit trails. You will be working closely with the CFO.

After three months, you will start researching an ERP system and set up a project group for the research and implementation. You will set up internal reviews of internal controls to make sure an auditor can rely on those processes.

After one year, you will own the financial accounting and reporting cycle and the planning & control cycle. You will provide leading financial and business information and advise the company in strategic decisions.
