Your mission

As Recruitee's new PR and Communications Manager, you will creatively shape our global communications strategy. Your mission will be to build our brand and reputation globally and locally, making sure our target audiences are aware of and appreciate our product.

About the team

As the Brand & Content Team within the Marketing Department, our mission is to build one of the most recognizable brands in the B2B SaaS market (think Gong, Chili Piper, Metadata.io). Our objective is to create top content that helps the HR & Talent Acquisition audience hire better together. By continuously providing this content at the right time on the right channel, we aim to accelerate our growth even further. Our ever-growing team currently consists of 4 Content Marketers (USA, DACH, FR), an Events Manager, and the Head of Brand & Content Marketing.

Your 12-month journey

In the first 3 months, you will learn everything about Recruitee, all PR & Communications stakeholders, the ins & outs of our product, the HR tech landscape, our competitors, the market landscape, and of course, our customers. You start analyzing our current communications & PR practices to see what areas we can improve on, and you'll be generating the first ideas for our global strategy.

After 6 months, you have mapped out what actions we need to strengthen our brand and create a buzz in the HR Technology space.

After 12 months, you will have delivered the messaging framework and communications strategy, helping Recruitee become the global thought leader in this market segment.

Job requirements

What you’ll do

  • Create, own and execute our multichannel PR and communications strategy to inspire and educate our personas and target media globally

  • Be a strategic partner for our c-level management and senior leaders, helping them build their personal brands and help prepare media and speaker opportunities

  • Build local narratives that resonate in our focus markets while staying aligned with our global strategy (cooperating with PR agencies on focus markets)

  • Be the first point of contact for requests from journalists and news outlets

  • Write press releases, bylines, interview blog posts, and other expert content. Identify, pitch, and place this content in relevant global (business) media

  • Define global and local KPIs, metrics, and dashboards to measure the impact of our brand story

  • Research trends in HR, recruitment, and technology amongst our target audience and customers. Share these trends and audience preferences with your fellow Recruitees to continuously improve our messaging, image, and brand


What you’ll bring to the team

  • 4+ years of experience in PR management and communications strategies

  • Proven track record of growing brand presence through pitching and securing relevant media outlets

  • Creative storytelling skills: to transform complex business/product content into compelling and easy to consume messaging and relevant media opportunities

  • Business English skills: to be our main voice when it comes to PR opportunities

  • Stakeholder management skills: to establish and nurture relationships internally and externally

  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach: to define our strategy and put it into practice
