Your mission
As our Product Education Manager you will help our customers become experts in the Tellent products (later this year Recruitee, kiwiHR, and Javelo are becoming Tellent). As a PEM, you’re a technical writer with an eye for detail and a passion for helping customers become more knowledgeable through various formats of content. You’ll own the help centre and be responsible for creating content like help articles, walkthrough videos, user guides, and more for the three product lines.
About the Team
You’ll be in the Marketing team, reporting to the Director of Product Marketing and working alongside 4 Product Marketers. Together, you will help bring products to market and educate customers on how to use them. Your closest stakeholders will be Product Marketers, Product, and Support.
Your 12-month journey
The first couple of months, you’ll spend learning the 3 product lines on a technical level. You’ll sit with our Product, Product Marketing, and Support teams to get a full understanding of how our customers use the products and what we’re building. You’ll also get a feel for our processes and workflows, help centre set-ups, and current style guides.
After 3 months, you’ll have full ownership of the Help Centres for the three product lines. You’ll be creating content for product launches and releases and will bring your own suggestions for improvements to workflows and content.
After 1 year, you’ll be working as a well-oiled machine with efficient processes, new forms of content, and happy customers that are able to better understand how to use our products. You’ll be reporting on KPIs like article reviews, content engagement, and support chat volumes, etc. to showcase how your efforts have made it easier for our customers to hire better, together
What you’ll be doing
Own the help centre for three product lines
Create and maintain help articles, FAQs, user guides, and walk-through videos
Work closely with Product Marketing, Product, and Success teams
Create engaging content that is easy to understand
What you’ll bring to the team
2 years of Technical writing experience, in a similar role or as part of Customer Support role
Excellent communication skill and an eye for detail
Able to collaborate cross-functionally
Passionate about creating fun and engaging but simple-to-understand content
Comfortable creating video content yourself - like walk-throughs
Fluency in English is required, German or French is a plus
