Sales Operations Specialist

We're scaling fast and to make sure we keep this momentum, we believe: we have to work smarter, not faster. This means we have to start building repeatable sales playbooks that have proven to work in the field to guide our reps into a smooth and frictionless buying process. This way we set our reps up for success and you will have a direct impact on the success of the sales team and Recruitee.
We're building out the capacity to mix and match different data sources we currently have, but are not actively using. You'll work together with our data ops specialist to build out this internal data tool. You'll be the functional owner of this from a sales reporting perspective and you are expected to have a vision of what data you want to use, what you want to achieve with it and how you want to present it to the company so you can use this information to have an impact.
About the Team
You’ll sit within the Operations Team along with our Data Ops and Marketing Ops Specialist, reporting into our Chief of Staff. As a business in a period of rapid scaling, this team is crucial to the success of Recruitee in the coming years and the small team you can expect to join will only continue to get bigger. You’ll be joining at an early stage with a lot of opportunity to make a big impact.
Your 12-month Journey
The first three months, get to know the business, the industry, and your stakeholders. Do an assessment on where our strengths and
weaknesses are and start planning your sales ops roadmap and start implementing low-hanging fruit to build momentum for yourself.
After 6 months, you’re starting to get the grips of the business and start planning for your first strategic project (prioritization lies with you,
chief of staff and the sales director).
After 12 months, you’re looking back at your first successful strategic project and you are planning for the future: what does a modern sales
ops function entail and what steps do we need to take to get there. This is the moment we can start discussing how we can build a team.
What you will do
Sales design and strategy
Together with the director of sales, you’ll be working on implementing sales tactics to achieve our ambitious sales goals. What do we expect from you? Help us with how we should segment our customers/prospects, hiring planning/coverage model (we’re on a rocket, so buckle up), own the compensation and quota setting process, and support in formulating the channel strategy.
We’re in full scaling mode and are looking for someone that helps us to lead in creating/documenting repeatable sales playbooks. What plays work in our business, replicate best practices and make sure we set our reps up for success. Although we pride ourselves on our excellent onboarding and clear value proposition and messaging, you’ll be working together with internal champions on refining and improving both to get us ready to set up for scale.
We’re working as data driven as possible at the moment and we are proud to say that we’re ahead in reporting for our size and age
(according to our main investor). However, we’re going to build out our reporting capacity in Recruitee and you’ll be a integral part of this
journey. As sales ops specialist you’ll work together with our data ops specialist to build out the reporting engine of tomorrow.
You’ll be the functional owner of the sales techstack and partner up with the rest of the ops team to set up the best techstack that supports
our strategy. You will be responsible for maintaining all training documents for using the current sales tools.
What you'll bring to the team
- You have worked in SaaS before.
- You have been in a sales ops / sales enablement role before for at least 4+ years.
- You have experience in data analysis and presenting data in a way that makes an impact.
- You have recent experience in a high growth company.
- Speaking German is a plus.
