Improve Recruitee's brand awareness and drive revenue on our owned social channels!


Your mission

Your main goal as a Social Media Manager is to improve brand awareness and drive revenue on our owned social channels by getting as many relevant people as possible to engage with our content. You set up and execute strategies (employee advocacy, community building, social selling), formats (including owning and maintaining a cross-team content calendar), and campaigns. You coordinate these across teams to ensure our social presence reflects what's happening at Recruitee. 

This is literally the most social role in Recruitee. So it doesn't stop with the channels you are strategizing and owning. In this role, you'll work with virtually every department. Launching & executing our employer branding strategy on Instagram with the People team, helping our sales heroes to utilize their online presence to close more deals, and leveraging your social listening insights to the Product Marketing Team, to name a few. On a day-to-day basis, you work with our content, creative, events, and growth teams, and you'll report to the Head of Brand & Content.

About the team

As the Brand & Content Team within the Marketing Department, our mission is to build one of the most recognizable brands in the B2B SaaS market (think Gong, Chili Piper, Metadata.io). Our ambition is to create and timely deliver content that helps our audience push boundaries in the HR universe, helping them become superstars in their organizations. By continuously delivering this content at the right time on the right channel, we aim to accelerate our growth. Our team currently consists of 4 content marketers (USA, DACH, FR), an Events Manager, and the Head of Brand & Content Marketing.


Your 12 Month Journey

The first 3 months you will spend focusing on learning everything there is to know about Recruitee: understand the product, our processes, the marketing strategy, the teams, the customers, and more. You've analyzed our current social channels and data and worked on creating the playbook to turn LinkedIn into our number 1 organic revenue channel.

After 6 months, you have found your and Recruitees' Social Media Voice. As a result, you will be seeing an increase in meaningful interactions and relevant followers across all channels. The website sees an increase in social referral traffic from your spot-on repurposing efforts. You inspire the content team with your knowledge of how to reuse existing content to get real-time content.

After 12 months, you have mastered the social media strategy. You became the subject matter expert and see exponential growth in adopters on your advocacy squad to amplify our reach even further.

What you'll do

  • Own Recruitee's Social Media channels by strategizing, planning, and posting new content with a particular focus on LinkedIn and Instagram

  • Your primary focus will be growing revenue & brand awareness through these channels, always thinking about new ways to reach and engage with our audiences

  • Create & coordinate social media calendar, channels, and posting in different languages together with the team of local content marketers (currently English, German, French)

  • Set up and execute our employee advocacy program to amplify our presence and help our colleagues grow their personal brands

  • Build a community of HR & Recruitment leaders

  • Although you LOVE content, you're madly in love with data too. Understanding how social media impacts our entire marketing strategy, and not afraid to share these insights, trends, and audience preferences with the rest of Recruitee to help us grow even faster

  • Be in a holistic/global way updated with all news and trends inside Recruitee

Job requirements

What you’ll bring to the team

  • 3-5 years of social media management experience

  • Experience with managing large accounts with a 15k+ follower base and multiple audiences

  • Fluent English speaker. Dutch, German and/or French are a plus

  • You are a true content repurposing wizard with impeccable writing skills

  • Thinking strategically is a no-brainer for you. You dare to challenge the status quo and are always looking to reinvent or apply new marketing tactics

  • Experienced and agile project manager, you’re used to dealing with managing multiple strategies and campaigns at the same time

  • Preferred/a plus
    • Experience with working at or for B2B technology/SaaS companies

    • Familiar with the HR decision-making audience (No HR background required)

    • Experience with content marketing
