How we hire

Hi there! This page is to give you a little insight as to what to expect when going through our hiring process at Tellent. For us, hiring is a two-way conversation – we might be interviewing you, but you’re interviewing us as well! Let's find out where the conversation would lead both sides.

Step 1

Getting to know you

In the first call, let our Recruiter learn about you and your story to check a potential fit to Recruitee. This is also a chance for you to ask first questions about the role and company.

Step 2

Manager’s interview

In this meeting, your future Leader takes a deeper dive into your experience and what you could bring to the team. You can expect questions on how knowledgeable you are in the business or technology area.

Step 3

Show us your skills

We want to see your practical insight by giving you a task related to what you would do in the position. It might be a presentation on the chosen field, evaluation of your language skills or coding assignment.

Step 4

Final chat + meet the team

You made it to the very last stage! Here we already strive to cooperate with you, and give you an opportunity to see the whole team during informal talk.

Dominik

Hi, I’m Dom. Based out of Poland and look after all tech positions. Great to see you here!

If I weren’t a tech recruiter, I would be a talent scout in the football world. Searching for the best players for the team, evaluating their potential, helping them grow - sound familiar, right? I always strive to partner with a candidate during the hiring process and leverage Recruitee for being a place of the first choice for IT passionates.

FAQ

Do you offer remote work?

We are remote-friendly and it’s up to you whether you prefer to work onsite in one of our locations or feel more comfortable having a home office. However, in some roles we might be looking for people living in the same region as Recruitee branches.

How should I prepare for the interview?

Please go through the job description once again and Recruitee’s other web spaces, including social media and the blog to feel our vibe. Be ready to ask your own questions to help yourself better understand if you might be a good fit to each other.

Can I choose the form of cooperation with Recruitee?

For positions located in Poland, it’s always up to you. You can choose between B2B cooperation or common employment contract. In both models we offer paid holidays. While for Netherlands and US opportunities, we offer a standard contract respectively.

What do you evaluate during the interviews?

We look for a potential long-term match during interviews. We'll assess you on passion, drive, and the willingness to 'own your shop'. We look to add owners and change-makers who grow based on 'learning-while-doing', to the team.

Is there a recruitment assignment?

In most hiring processes we arrange a session to check practical skills needed for the job. This may include a live coding (pair-programming) or presentation to be prepared. You will never be asked to deliver any kind of work before we talk first. Such an assignment is organized in an advanced stage of recruitment, when you are really keen on the role and our expectations.
